Kid's Stuff

Programs designed to increase awareness about Child Care Issues

Back Safety

Staff will learn how to safely lift children without injury. Child Care center will decrease staff injury and lost workdays.

Medication Education Programs

Staff will learn how to read and better understand medication labels for Medication administration. Staff will learn techniques and tips for safe Medication administration. Staff will increase awareness on the importance of understanding both prescription and over the counter medication. Child Care center will decrease risk in error at the time of administration.

Blood Borne Pathogens

Staff will learn OSHA regulations to prevent transmission of blood borne diseases such as Hepatitis and HIV as well as acceptable methods for cleaning potentially contaminated areas. Child care center can decrease the risk of spreading these reportable diseases among children and staff.

CPR
Basic First Aid

Staff will attain certification to administer adult, child and infant CPR and how and when to give emergency care for injuries and/or accute illness.
